Fantastic team environment working on meaningful HR projects About Our Client My client are based south of the river in the Kwinana Industrial area and specialise in the energy and resources space.They are working on some incredibly exciting projects and are currently growing.Job Description Key Responsibilities: Employee Relations and Union Management: Support investigations and manage union relations, focusing on Enterprise Agreement interpretations Advise on relevant Awards, Industrial Agreements, legislation, policies, and procedures Manage union right of entries and maintain positive relationships Talent Management and Workforce Planning: Develop and execute people plans in collaboration with leaders Coordinate workforce planning activities to meet medium and long-term resource needs Manage succession plans and recruitment activities aligned with headcount budgets Oversee the talent review process and develop plans for top talent HR Operations and Compliance: Support recruitment and onboarding processes, alongside the recruitment team Manage variations to employment, parental leave requests, and flexible work arrangements Handle disciplinary and performance matters, conducting investigations when required Organisational Development: Review HR metrics and identify trends to implement strategies minimising risk Develop and execute plans to achieve KPIs related to diversity and inclusion Support delivery of the Apprentice and Trainee program Assist operational leaders with HR activities such as Annual Performance Reviews and salary reviews The Successful Applicant Requirements: Proven experience in HR roles involving employee relations, union management, and compliance with industrial relations laws Strong knowledge of HR processes including workforce planning, recruitment, and talent management Experience with HR systems (e.g., SuccessFactors) Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams Demonstrated ability to manage confidential information with discretion Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred What's on Offer Compensation and Benefits: Competitive salary range: $130,000 to $135,000 per annum Short Term Incentive Plan (STIP) based on performance $4,000 private health benefit Additional superannuation contributions
