Brunel is working closely with a well-established renewable energy developer currently going through a growth phase who are seeking a senior development manager to join its team in either Melbourne or Brisbane. Over the last 10 years, the client has developed multiple utility scale solar farms which they have seen through to operation and sale.As the senior project development manager, you will lead a team of 4 in the development and execution of the strategy of solar, battery (BESS), hydrogen, and hybrid utility scale projects from conception through to completion.The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of the renewable energy industry in Australia, be able to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to secure permits and agreements, and possess strong project management skills.RequirementsProven leadership and team management skills.3-5+ years of renewable energy project development.Extensive knowledge of solar, BESS, and hydrogen regulations.Strong written and verbal communication as well as negotiation skills.Chinese language skills are a must.Commercial acumen and business development.Leave a legacy in the Australian renewable energy industry.Flexible working arrangement.About BrunelBrunel is a recruitment and flexible workforce solution provider which connects talented people with opportunities throughout Australasia and around the world.
