Key Responsibilities
1. Lead the planning and coordination of Bp's events schedule across Australia and New Zealand, including maintaining a calendar of events and list of requirements for each.
2. Coordinate the Bp Events Working Group, keeping records of meeting notes, action items, as well as providing updates to any developments from prior discussions.
3. Develop proposals to support Bp's attendance at conferences and events in alignment with Bp's strategy.
4. Assist the Marketing Team in the design, creation and coordination of marketing materials and merchandise.
5. Provide operational and administrative support to internal stakeholders and event exhibitors.
6. Design event plans, maintain attendee details, marketing, promotion, and scheduling.
7. Attend conferences and events to support exhibitors and maintain Bp's conference stand and collateral.
Requirements
* Experience in marketing and events management with direct exposure to planning and exhibiting at large industry conferences and customer events.
* Strong administration and logistical organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Experience managing events planning digital platforms (EventsAir, Cvent, Eventbrite or equivalent).
* Strong vendor and stakeholder engagement experience.
* The ability to travel several times a year to major industry conferences.
* Enthusiasm for event design, planning, and coordination.
* A responsible attitude enabling you to work autonomously, while also thriving in a team environment.
* Excellent high-level communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships.
* Outstanding knowledge of MS Office.
* Experience with WordPress, Campaign Monitor, Elementor, and social media planning platforms is desirable.
