About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Team Leader to lead a creative and experienced team in land management.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and participate in risk management activities, including fire, pest plant and animal management, and addressing unauthorized uses of state-managed land.
* Deliver work programs, contractor management, and reporting.
* Work with stakeholders to make the region safer for the community.
Requirements
* Possession of a current manual driver's licence is mandatory.
* Ability to drive on dirt roads and sand tracks in remote areas.
* Willingness and ability to travel to and overnight in rural locations regularly.
* A positive contribution to workplace equity and diversity.
Desirable Capabilities
* Hazard reduction burning, including Fire Management Level I accreditation.
* Licence for commercial application of herbicides.
* Accreditation Levels I and II for chainsaw operations.
* Using digital devices and applications, including Geographic Information Systems.

Salary: $95,000 - $120,000 per annum
