This role is pivotal in planning and delivering future government schools, ensuring that programs align with strategic priorities and stakeholder needs.The Senior Project Manager will take ownership of a key program, leading efforts to identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and negotiate successful outcomes with diverse stakeholders. The role also involves providing strategic advice to senior leaders and collaborating across government to achieve program goals.Key Responsibilities:Program Leadership: Lead the delivery of a key program within the Land Acquisition team, ensuring projects align with departmental business plans and policies.Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with land acquisition and development, including contamination, geotechnical issues, and ecological or cultural heritage considerations.Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including other government agencies, to drive program success.Strategic Planning: Develop comprehensive program briefs and ensure alignment with the team's objectives and strategic direction.Governance: Define success measures, establish roles and responsibilities, and monitor progress to manage risks and ensure successful project outcomes.People Leadership: Manage and develop team capabilities, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.Key CriteriaWe are seeking a dynamic leader with a proven track record in project and program management, ideally in land acquisition or development.
