Occupational Therapist required for a temporary contract. 1 – 3 Months, negotiable immediate Start. All about the role We are looking for an Occupational Therapist that enjoys working with the adult population and focused on providing participants with the best quality therapies. You would be working in a modern Therapy Centre which includes access to therapy rooms, gymnasium, warm water therapy pool, resources & strong clinical support. The role is a hybrid combination of Community and Clinic assessment and therapy treatment. Located in the eastern suburbs, a short commute from the heart of Melbourne. Hybrid model of 60% Community & 40% clinic. Monday – Friday, 38 hours per week. Everyday is different, you can be conducting face-to-face sessions in the morning, reporting in the afternoon, visiting other site-clinics, home visits or spend the day completely in one role. You will have the support of working alongside an extremely cohesive multi-disciplinary team, dedicated to giving the best possible outcomes to participants. Duties you will be responsible for
1. Provide evidence based professional & holistic occupational therapy assessment, intervention and evaluation services to participants.
2. Clinic, Community, School and onsite pool & gym based individual and group intervention
3. Reporting & Notations
4. Equipment assessments & referrals
5. Work independently & interdependently
6. Excellent communication skills
7. Manage caseload and work within guidelines
