With nearly 60 years of design innovation and building experience, we continue as industry leaders, evolving to meet our clients' changing lifestyles.About the roleReporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for effectively managing customer relationships during the pre-construction phase of their building experience and ensuring the assembly of an accurate file (house plans, pre-site documentation, and all associating variations) in preparation for construction.Your main responsibilities will include:Ensuring a high standard of client management and communication through all stages of the pre-site phase through to commencement.Establishing pre-construction file records and complete preliminary review of contract, house documentation, quotation and variation to quotation documentation.Working closely with the wider Customer Service team, Planning team and Select Home Studio team to deliver a seamless pre-construction journey meeting customer expectation for communication and timeframes.Ensuring an effective handover of files deemed authorised to commence construction to the Building Support Coordination team.About youTo be successful in this role, you will be passionate and committed to delivering successful outcomes for our customers through clear and timely communication and have the ability to maintain effectiveness in different situations.You will also have:Demonstrated experience in a customer service/administrative positionIntermediate level of skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and email)Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiations skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with people from a diverse range of backgroundsA strong customer service focus with the ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentialityAbility to work productively within a team environmentHigh attention to detail and accuracyProactive approach to problem solvingAn understanding of the building and construction industry and planning processes (desirable)Ability to read and understand building plans and engineering reports (desirable)Working knowledge of a building and construction workflow management system (desirable)At Fairmont We’re Built For LifeBuilda rewarding career,unitedwithin a healthy work environment.
