Compliance Officer required for an immediate start in this temporary role. Your new company Situated to the northwest of Melbourne, this Local Council is home to historic towns and is a tourist destination. Your new role There is an immediate requirement for a Compliance Officer to assist the team on a temporary basis until approximately February. This varied role will include Animal Management, Local Laws, and Parking enforcement duties. The role will include conducting animal pick-ups and animal collections, pound duties (including cleaning the pound), sending notices to comply, conducting door knocks for animal registrations, investigating barking dog complaints and excess animal complaints, vehicles parked on nature strips, unsightly properties, bins left on nature strips, and over-hanging trees. What you'll need to succeed You will possess excellent animal handling skills and will have previous experience working for a Local Council in an Animal Management or Local Laws role.
