You will proactively carry out regular maintenance tasks and investigate and resolve service issues by working closely with internal stakeholders (business and technical) and external vendors and partners.ResponsibilitiesContribute to the activities of a team of application support specialists, along with external partners, to ensure that production applications maintain high levels of availability.Contribute to strategic direction by providing timely and accurate advice related to application management and support.Apply technical knowledge in support and enhancement of critical line of business applications.Participate in team mentoring, training, assistance, and feedback activities with a strong focus on fostering a collegial, positive, innovative, and client-focused culture.Support strong, ongoing, and mutually beneficial relationships with internal and external clients, key stakeholders, external technical experts, service providers, and vendor partners, with a focus on a strong and sustainable client service culture.Identify continuous improvement opportunities, team risks and issues, and provide input into the Unit's planning cycles.Ensure the development of, and compliance with, policies, procedures, documentation, and tools associated with key areas of responsibility.Applications to remain current for 12 months.
