Overview of role:
As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering a diverse range of projects that support the goals of the Assets & Operations Group. You'll ensure these projects meet budget, time, and quality standards set by the Investment Review Committee, Project Management Office, and relevant legislation, including the Work Health & Safety Act. This role also involves engaging stakeholders, managing risks, and leading by example to foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver assigned projects to specification, on time, and within budget
* Conduct project evaluations, feasibility studies, and investigations
* Prepare comprehensive project documentation that meets required standards
* Manage resources efficiently and effectively, ensuring milestones are met
* Engage stakeholders and manage their expectations throughout project delivery
* Identify and manage project risks and implement business improvements
* Ensure compliance with all statutory obligations and promote a safe workplace
* Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants, contractors, and suppliers
Qualifications and Experience:
* A tertiary degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, or a trade qualification with substantial experience in project or site management
* Eligible for membership in the Institute of Engineers Australia or Australian Institute of Project Management
* Proven project management skills with a strong record of delivering on time, within budget, and to specification
* Excellent negotiation, communication, and influencing skills
* Knowledge of WH&S legislation and project management methodologies

Salary:
The salary and conditions for this position will be as per the Coliban Water Enterprise Agreement 2021 Band 4, $93,548 - $112,895 plussuperannuationsalary range will be offered to the successful candidate commensurate with their skills and experience.
