The role will be to continue to build upon our existing customer relationships, and to accept the challenge of creating new business in Queensland.Reporting to the Queensland State Manager, the objective of your role will be to exceed territory sales targets, with a strong emphasis on industrial networking. You will be focusing on project related and day to day business, in industries including Mining, Utilities, Renewable Energy, Rail, Infrastructure, Transport, Construction, Food and Beverage and General Manufacturing.Your customer base will include project, engineering, design and innovation teams, end users, systems integrators, OEM's and consultants. This is an autonomous role where you will spend a large portion of your time within Brisbane, with some regional and interstate travel (as required).Duties will include but are not limited to:Promotion of industrial products and solutions, best in class technologies that are used extensively in the industrial electrical/networking space, incorporating the full suite of Colterlec product brands.Service, maintain and further develop existing accounts.Identify and secure new business through a targeted, strategic, and planned approach.Work closely with the national Colterlec Product Managers team and Supplier Representatives.In conjunction with the Colterlec team, coordinate product and application presentations, seminars, and training sessions.Gain valuable market feedback to assist in strategic key account planning.Develop and implement effective sales plans on target accounts in the region.Skills and ExperienceTo be successful in the role, you will have had exposure to the industrial electrical/networking market. An electrical engineering degree/exposure to industrial ethernet applications is desirable.You will be highly self-motivated with a desire to succeed and possess a positive attitude, strategic approach, and team focus.
