As they continue to scale globally, they are looking for a highly skilled IT Cyber Security & Operations Engineer to join their growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in developing and securing the company's IT operations globally.The Role:As the IT Cyber Security & Operations Engineer, you will lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of cybersecurity practices, policies, and procedures across all IT systems and managed services.
You will also play a key role in IT operational support to ensure the availability, performance, and security of the systems meet business and customer objectives.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:IT Cyber Security Responsibilities (60%):Establish and maintain an Information Security Management System (ISMS).Implement and maintain cybersecurity toolkits to proactively monitor and reduce risks.Lead periodic security reviews and audits, managing approved recommendations.Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and security assessments.Provide technical leadership in response to security incidents.Develop and deliver cybersecurity training programs to staff.Provide ongoing technical advice on emerging cybersecurity threats.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of security regulations, policies, and procedures.IT Operations Responsibilities (40%):Implement and support the company's systems and infrastructure (servers, networks, storage).Manage the backups and disaster recovery strategy for business continuity.Maintain documentation of system configurations and procedures.Collaborate with internal and external teams on project development and support.Provide technical advice and strategic recommendations for continuous infrastructure improvements.Participate in on-call support for high-severity service-impacting incidents.You:The ideal candidate will have:10+ years experience in IT operations and/or information security.In-depth knowledge of security frameworks such as ISO 27001, Essential Eight, and ITIL.Strong background in UNIX/Linux, network administration, and cloud environments (preferably AWS).Proficiency with automation tools (e.g., Ansible) and Atlassian tools (e.g., Confluence, Jira).Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with internal teams and external partners.A self-motivated individual capable of working independently with limited direction.Bachelor's degree in cyber security, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA) are a plus.Apply Now:If you have a passion for cybersecurity and IT operations and are looking to contribute your expertise to a global organization, apply here to Sheralee with your brief cover letter and resume and become part of a growing and innovative team!Redwolf + Rosch invite and encourage applications from all backgrounds of gender, disability, culture, and race.
