The Accounts Payable team within Shared Services Finance is currently seeking a Team Manager (ASO6) to join their dynamic and expert team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-performing group in a fast-paced environment.
The Accounts Payable function sits within the Finance Operations area of Shared Services Finance. Finance Operations are well known for providing exceptional accounts payable, banking operations, and business intelligence services across the ACT Government.
What will set you apart from other candidates is your can-do attitude as well as a strong aptitude for Accounts Payable in a government setting, including a solid understanding of the work practices and procedures that underpin a successful and fast paced operations team. You must have a strong customer focus and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and partners to deliver integrated finance service operations on behalf of the Territory.
We are looking for a highly self-motivated individual who has experience managing large teams and possess exceptional multitasking abilities. You must be confident in your ability to make those tough decisions with regards to team performance, workloads and outcomes. You will drive the team to ensure their Key Performance Indicators are consistently met.
The Accounts Payable function is both rewarding and fast-paced, so exceptional time management, along with advanced problem-solving and analytical skills, are essential.
