Best known for its management of major Australian venues Optus Stadium in Perth and Industree Group Stadium on the NSW Central Coast, VenuesLive is rapidly diversifying and expanding its operational footprint across Australia.The following opportunity exists to join a high achieving team and work in a dynamic sports and events business.Reporting to the Venue Manager, the Assets & Operations Manager is responsible for managing the maintenance and repair of Industree Group Stadium, overseeing the maintenance team and ensuring the venue is set and ready to host each event. The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar management level role in the facilities industry and a thorough understanding of the requirements of operating and maintaining significant infrastructure.The key responsibilities of the position are:Oversee the maintenance and repair of Central Coast Stadium, in accordance with the Asset Management Plan and the Operations and Maintenance Manuals.Maintain the Asset Register.Coordinate and provide supervision of Specialist Maintenance Contracts including but not limited to catering equipment, beer systems, videoscreens and video production equipment, CCTV, access control, PA, MATV, pest control, FF&E mechanical, turnstiles and AV systems.Provide assistance as required with planning and approvals for temporary event setups / building works / other event activities e.g. pyrotechnics etc.Oversee the efficient management and operation of all building systems (BMCS, lighting, Security System etc.).Advise on and coordinate expenditure on capital replacements as required.Manage the event day venue readiness program and set-up requirements, as part of the event planning process and ensure appropriate schedules / plans are developed.Manage the day to day Venue Security function, including the coordination of security services, procurement of resources and reconciliation of non-event day costs.Manage the day-to-day cleaning and waste management programs, including the coordination of services.Undertake the role of Safety and Environmental Management Systems representative for Industree Group Stadium.Assist with the development of non-event risk registers and risk assessments and the development of appropriate mitigation strategies, response and contingency plans.Respond to critical maintenance issues outside of normal office hours as required.The key skills and attributes required are:Diploma or degree qualifications in Facilities Management, Project Management or Engineering desirable.Strong communication, literacy and numeracy skills.Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.Ability to simultaneously manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.Demonstrated ability to lead a team.Ability to provide strategy and direction.Competency in MS Office Suite and computerised asset management maintenance systems.In addition to the above criteria, attention to detail, a customer focus, high levels of energy, willingness to work flexible hours in line with the requirements of Industree Group Stadium’s event schedule (which includes evening and weekend work) and a positive ‘can do’ attitude is what is required to successfully undertake this position.
