The position requires strong organizational skills, flexibility, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities within specific timeframes.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESProject planning and supportAssist in developing a workplan and schedulesSupport day-to-day tasks and ensuring milestones are achievedTrack expenditure and support financial reporting.Ensure project activities are aligned with organizational objectives and timelines.Stakeholder engagement and partner coordinationFacilitate communication with community partnersCultivate trust and open communication with diverse stakeholdersServe as the point of contact for collaborators about the projectAddress project-related queries and partnership enquiriesCoordinate schedules, meetings, and workshops.Monitoring, evaluation and learningTrack project progress, including against key performance indicators and aligned with our impact mapIdentify potential risks and contribute to mitigation strategiesHelp adjust timelines or resources as necessary to ensure the project stays on trackQualificationsUndergraduate degree or equivalent work experienceSkills and experienceStrong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilitiesAbility to work effectively with various teams and stakeholdersExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalExperience with software such as Microsoft Office, Mailchimp and WordPressProblem-solving attitude and attention to detailOpen-mindedness and a strong work ethicGood sense of humourCommitment to the vision and mission of Watipa, and the idea of paying it forward for community development.Experience with local and diverse community organisations in the Coffs Harbour region and Gumbaynggirr country is desirable.ABOUT WATIPAWatipa is a social enterprise working to enable equal societies, just development and better health for all.
