How will I help?
This role is part of the Group Reporting and Analytics team (GR&A), Finance team.
Specifically working in Process, Controls and Change team with a group of professionals this role will maintain strong and efficient control environment through the adherence to policies, processes, and standards as well as driving continuous improvement initiatives.
You will also be required to build and maintain strong relationships with our internal stakeholders.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
* Establish & maintain a framework that sets out key principles & standards to be met by Group Reporting & Analytics.
* Strengthen the control framework and enhance reporting governance.
* Actively translate & provide guidance regarding compliance with policies for the returns that Group Reporting Analytics prepare.
* Leverage process maps, standard operating procedures and reporting frameworks to enhance financial and regulatory reporting processes.
* Provide governance & oversight in relation to report controls and issue & incident management.
* Provide governance, oversight and verification of regulatory returns and Financial Statement disclosures owned by Group Reporting & Analytics.
* Provide subject matter expertise to projects that impact Group Reporting & Analytics control environment.
* Support enhancement and remediation of risk reporting and identify opportunities for continuous improvement in reporting and control environment.
* Risk assesses reports and recommend prioritisation of report remediation.
* Provide expert knowledge and collaborate with the Group Reporting & Analytics teams design and build dashboards/reports/papers for senior management.

What do I need?
* 5+ years’ relevant work experience in risk governance ideally within Banking, Financial Services, Consulting firms.
* Exposure / Knowledge of Prudential / Accounting Standards
* Exposure / understanding of APRA regulatory reporting.
* Audit / Compliance experience Credit / Finance
* Tertiary qualifications Commerce, Finance, Economics, or relevant degree
* Experience working with large data sets
* Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills
