The Opportunity This is a legacy executive position which will oversee a diverse portfolio made up of the following service lines: Child, Youth and Family, Domestic Violence, Early Learning, Homelessness and Mental Health.Reporting to the Diocesan Chief Executive, the Executive Director Families & Community Services will: Provide strategic direction, innovation and continuous improvement across the organisation. Lead teams within the internal systems of care through driving operational and performance excellence. Develop and foster robust strategic partnerships across the sector to ensure a dynamic and innovative response to community needs. Secure grants and funding to support the implementation and delivery of services. Engage with the Board of the Newcastle Anglican Corporation in relation to the execution of the Community Wellbeing strategy. About You For this appointment, Newcastle Anglican is seeking an established executive leader within the Human Services sector with a demonstrated history of leading geographically dispersed teams driving exceptional service delivery and outcomes for clients. Candidates with the following experiences and skillsets are encouraged to apply: Tertiary qualification. 5+ years of experience at a senior level across child, youth, family and community services sector. Demonstrated commercial and strategic acumen. Demonstrated comprehensive knowledge of the child, youth, family, and community services including funding and policy protocols, accreditation, and industrial legislation. Demonstrated experience using effective governance frameworks to ensure ethical use of financial resources and professional standards of planning and budgeting. A proven track record in successfully leading change and innovation. Strong collaboration, teamwork and relationship-building skills across multiple levels and functions. National Police Check and current driver's licence.
