Your role:
You will play a key role in assisting with the preparation and filing of tax returns, maintaining accurate financial records, staying updated on changes in tax laws, and supporting the broader tax strategy of DuluxGroup.
You will work closely with the Tax Manager ensuring all tax compliance requirements for Australia, New Zealand and other jurisdictions when required, are met accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
* Preparation of income tax returns (Australia and New Zealand) including maintaining workpapers, schedules and file notes
* Preparation of Fringe Benefits Tax returns and analytics for Australia and New Zealand, including assistance with ensuring compliance obligations and supporting materials are maintained in accordance with the Australian and New Zealand tax legislation
* Preparation of Research and Development tax offset claim
* Ensuring tax payments and lodgments are made by due date, including income tax instalment and withholding tax etc.
* General consulting & advisory, including drafting technical position papers.

Skills & Experience
* Degree and CA/CPA qualified
* Experience in either a professional accounting firm or an in-house corporate tax unit.
* Tax knowledge, in particular income tax and fringe benefits tax
* Competent in technical and practical accounting, strong in tax effect accounting
