Director, Communications and Engagement, ALRC - Executive Level 2Our OpportunityThis is an exciting opportunity to shape and deliver the ALRC’s communications and engagement as we grow and engage with broader and diverse audiences. Together with the executive and legal teams, the Director will be responsible for designing and implementing the ALRC’s communications strategy to position the ALRC as a centre of excellence and the leading Australian agency for law reform.The Director will be part of the leadership team and play a critical role in effectively communicating the work of the ALRC to organisational and inquiry-specific stakeholders and the broader community, including through media releases and media engagement, the ALRC website, social media channels, ALRC events, and the development of inquiry-specific communications products. A key component of the role will be working closely with the legal teams to translate complex legal ideas into easily understood and engaging content that can be used in a range of forums.Who are we looking for?We seek people who bring novel ideas, diverse experiences, and global perspectives, and are willing to explore innovative ways of working.
