About the Role:
We are on the lookout for a passionate Shop Manager to lead our Anglicare Op Shop in Marrickville. In this dynamic role, you will:
* Lead with Heart: Inspire and manage a team of dedicated volunteers, fostering a supportive and enthusiastic atmosphere.
* Drive Success: Develop and implement strategies to maximize sales and support Anglicare’s vision and values.
* Build Community: Forge strong relationships with local community members, churches, and key stakeholders to enhance our shop’s presence and impact.
* Champion Sustainability: Promote the joy of recycling, reusing, and reloving beautiful preloved items.
Your Impact:
As a Shop Manager, you will:
* Provide exceptional leadership, training, and development to your team.
* Ensure high standards of service and product quality.
* Create a safe and welcoming environment for staff, volunteers, and customers.
* Achieve and exceed challenging KPIs.
About You:
We are seeking a compassionate professional with:
* Proven experience in retail management.
* Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
* A proactive approach to developing new community connections.
* Experience in event organization and vendor liaison.
* The ability to handle challenging situations with grace.
* A current driver’s license and intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
