About the opportunity
Mercy Care Centre Young is a 26-bed subacute health service facility providing a range of outpatient, community health and aged care services for the people of Young and surrounding region. It specialises in geriatric evaluation and management; rehabilitation and palliative care. Our facility is co-located with the Young Health Service and sits within Murrumbidgee Local Health District.
* Provide quality patient- focused and clinical care utilising a person-centred approach
* Undertake assessments, treatment and documentation to the highest standard
* Work on our 26 bed subacute ward specialising in rehabilitation & palliative care
* Be part of a multi-disciplinary team which requires you to provide a highly responsive and flexible service to consumers and carers.

* Excellent clinical, time management, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and problem solve.
* A compassionate, flexible and positive approach to effective patient care and management.
* The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:
* Current registration with APHRA
* A current Police Record Check
* Recent experience in palliative care and or rehabilitation desirable
* Demonstrated clinical ability and skills
* Current Immunisation of diseases as listed in NSW Health Policy Directive. This is a Category A Risk position
