About the Position:
We have a varied work base in Darwin, working with people who have developmental and mental health-related issues.
Our team conducts a range of assessments with diverse client populations, including early childhood developmental assessment, FASD assessment, ASD assessment, psychosocial assessment, behavioural assessment, parenting capacity assessment, dementia assessment, and forensic assessment.
Assessments are also conducted for learning difficulties, executive functioning, depression, anxiety, PTSD, etc.
Psychological intervention, therapy, and behaviour support services are provided using various modalities, including individual, family-based, and service system interventions.
Our client groups are diverse, with presentations stemming from developmental trauma, disability, neurodevelopmental disorders, traumatic brain injury, and mental health issues.
We offer opportunities to work regionally (e.g., Katherine, Alice Springs) and within remote Indigenous communities.
The Northern Territory offers an exciting mix of tropical and desert landscapes, with world-leading national parks and diverse wildlife.
Key Responsibilities:
* To conduct a range of assessments and provide psychological intervention, therapy, and behaviour support services.
* To work with individuals with complex needs, including those with intellectual disabilities, mental health issues, and experiences of trauma.
* To collaborate with clients, families, and other professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
You will need:
* A tertiary qualification in Psychology and full AHPRA registration;
* Experience working with individuals with complex needs, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other neurodiverse populations;
* Experience providing clinical and/or behaviour assessment, intervention, and support in relevant sectors;
* A current Driver's Licence, Working with Children Check, and NDIS Worker Screening;
