As the Reward Manager, reporting directly to the Global Head of Reward, this role is at the heart of Arup’s dynamic Reward Community of Expertise (CoE). This global team operates across five regions, numerous functions, and over 30 countries, working together to deliver an ambitious Global Reward Strategy that aligns with Arup’s overall vision.
This role takes the lead in developing and executing innovative reward programs and strategic initiatives that ensures competitiveness in diverse marketplaces while driving greater efficiency and alignment. The role manages reward delivery for specific regions, partnering with key stakeholders, and collaborating with talented professionals across our global and regional people teams.

The Opportunity
* Lead the delivery of reward cyclical activity across Australasia and East Asia regions, partner with global CoE colleagues on key projects that operationalise our global reward strategy.
* Drive or contribute to key projects that operationalise our reward strategy, developing solutions that address both global and regional business needs.
* Collaborate to ensure all reward programs, policies, and processes are well-documented, continuously improved, globally aligned, and clearly communicated to key stakeholders.
* Oversee relationships with third-party advisers and suppliers in line with the Arup’s supplier management framework.
* Support and guide the Shared Services administration team, focusing on delivering an exceptional member experience while resolving all reward queries, acting as the final escalation point for reward matters.
* Support colleagues in the regional people team to enable them to make decisions, interpret policies, resolve complex issues and individual cases.
* Proactively identify opportunities to improve our reward proposition and delivery, backed up with market intelligence / data-driven insights.
* Maintain a current understanding of reward legislation, ensuring all programmes and practices comply with relevant laws and regulations within the regions for which you are responsible.
Is this role right for you?
* Extensive operational multi-country reward experience within a matrixed organisation environment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with and influence internal stakeholders and external partners.
* Strong understanding of project management principles, highly organised and able to coordinate the delivery of simultaneous projects and a range of activity.
* Excellent analytical skills and systems proficiency.
* Change management experience, navigating stakeholders through transformations of process and approach.
* Effective people developer who can coach team members to grow their skills and capabilities
* Personal integrity with commitment and alignment to Arup values and aims.
