About the Role
The Lending Officer - Self Employed assesses risk through Home Lending Applications prepared by Mortgage Brokers and Direct customers.
* Decision applications based on the Bank's current risk appetite in adherence with organisational policies.
* Assess more complex deals including self-employed applications.
* Contribute to the delivery of the Home Lending Assessment service levels.
Your Day as a Lending Officer - Self Employed
You will achieve measurable performance benchmarks in:
* Customer Service: Deliver high quality service for internal and external stakeholders.
* Operational Efficiency: Meet daily deliverables and adhere to process changes.
* Quality Assurance: Meet the Credit Review compliance benchmark of 95%.
* Risk Culture: Contribute to the improvement of risk culture through successful completion of risk activities.
What We're Looking For
To succeed in this role, you'll ideally bring:
* Demonstrated Banking or Lending experience.
* Customer Service skills.
* Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
