$116,075 to $132,386 plus 15.4% superannuation

About the Role

The Assistant Director Clinical Incident Management position is located within the Clinical Governance and Assurance Branch. This is an executive level position responsible for managing the clinical incident service, including the team which delivers operationally on this function, service and quality improvement initiatives and reporting insights.
The nature of the work will be clinically and technically challenging, but highly rewarding. You will support the safety of Australians using national digital health systems including My Health Record and electronic prescribing.
If you are passionate about clinical governance and clinical/medicines safety, have experience in managing incidents through a clinical service or function, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and enjoy working in a data-rich, fast-paced environment at the cross section of clinical and technology, then this is the role for you.
Key Responsibilities
* Experience with managing incidents with clinical risk, including reporting and broad stakeholder communications
* Experience in clinical safety or clinical incident management of digital health systems is highly desirable
* Tertiary qualification in a health discipline
* Ability to obtain and maintain national police check
* Australian Citizenship is a condition of eligibility
* Ability to obtain and maintain a baseline security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a higher clearance if required by the Agency
Additional Information
The position may be filled in Brisbane, Sydney, or Canberra, and locations outside of these Agency office centres will also be considered.
