The Opportunity
Reporting to the Infrastructure Delivery Manager (physical infrastructure), the Asset Performance Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the asset data integrity and asset information accuracy meets the business needs.
The focus of this position is to utilise business systems and tools to extract, analyse and report on key performance metrics and asset information and provide robust business analysis and insights to facilitate communication and shape future asset management improvement strategies. This role is also responsible for conducting assurance on asset information, whilst managing and advancing the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS). GeelongPort utilise Maximo as our asset management system.
Staying well informed with all levels of asset management across the business, to provide relevant advice; including strategic overviews, financial reporting, information technologies and systems, asset utilisation, contractor management, and maintenance and operational processes. Stakeholder engagement to refine asset maintenance and asset replacement programs aligned with organisational wide asset management maturity, systems standardisation and integration. Planning and prioritisation of responsibilities that range from analytics and reporting, training and support, system improvements and operations; to ensure prompt and accurate completion. The success measures for this role include:
Optimise Maximo system to meet business requirements, including managing workflows, data structures, and integration points. Develop performance reporting and data visualisations including scorecards and dashboards that allows operational performance, measures, metrics and targets to be monitored by all asset managers as well assist in the development of the desired analytical approach and solution. Provide support in the development and implementation of the Asset Management Strategy, plans and procedures. Manage the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) as a software platform; including facilitating training and improvement requests. Optimise and configure the CMMS to bring alignment with evolving analytical business objectives; including CMMS Management plans and processes, maintenance reporting, and compliance with internal IT technology policies. Manage and contribute to the development of processes that optimise and integrate new and existing asset software systems; including (and not limited to) financial systems. Support integrated asset performance and utilisation planning that is data driven and informs strategic and future planning. Work closely with IT team, and other relevant internal and external stakeholders for the management, troubleshooting and optimization of the CMMS. Translate business needs into technical solutions, that align with business requirements including the IT Strategy. Develop and enhance system documentation, ensuring compliance with IT standards. About you
Ideally you will have degree or trade qualified with 5 years hands on experience with Maximo or similar CMMS.
You will be experienced analyst working in a team, focused on delivery of key objectives whilst working with a range of contractors and stakeholders. Your superior organisational skills will be underpinned by a collaborative approach to your work.
You love the challenge of analytical skills, and are motivated to create a lasting, positive impact on your team and the wider business.
You will have exceptional communication skills and must be able to lead and deliver successful projects.

Strong focus on developing a best-in-class asset management system to support predictive maintenance. Proven ability to understand business needs and successfully drive projects to completion. A collaborative mindset that values inclusivity and teamwork. Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts for effective stakeholder engagement. Extensive experience with Maximo, including configuration and data integrity. Experience in setting technical standards, leading projects, and working with diverse stakeholders. Strong problem-solving skills with a track record of delivering strategic solutions and staying updated on industry trends. Ability to collaborate with IT teams, project teams, senior management, and system architects. Proficient with Microsoft Project and Office Suite. Organisational change management. Growth mindset.
