Technical Airworthiness Compliance Manager The Role The Technical Airworthiness Compliance Manager (TACM) manages a small team, undertaking direct Quality System auditing and assurance activities on behalf of the Maintenance Organisation (MO) Quality Manager. This work supports the ongoing certification of the MO under Defence Aviation Safety Regulations Part 145 requirements and provides assurance to the Army Continuing Airworthiness Manager that the MO conforms to Continuing Airworthiness procedures and processes. Primary tasks include, but are not limited to: Coordination and conduct of scheduled and random audits and sampling to assure conformance, Military Aviation Maintenance Licence administration and authorisation of certifying staff on behalf of the QM. Knowledge requirements include: Quality System principles, as related to aviation maintenance regulation, DASR 145, M and 66 compliance requirements, Understanding of Maintenance Organisation Exposition and associated instructions. Our Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will be an individual with the following experience, training, and attributes: Holding relevant aviation trade qualifications and technical experience in the aviation maintenance environment or similar discipline. Understanding and working knowledge of Defence Aviation Safety Regulations. Relevant qualifications and understanding relating to Quality System requirements and principles. An ability to communicate effectively and provide guidance and advice to workforce and key staff as may be required and as appropriate.
