We are seeking an innovative Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead the establishment and transformation of digital systems for our local (Australian) and global organisation. As this is a clean slate, the ideal candidate will have deep expertise in designing and implementing digital infrastructure from the ground up, leveraging Industry 4.0, big data, AI, and blockchain technologies. Ltd (Australian operations M3 Building System plants) — Global organisation HM3 Global Ltd (unlisted Australian public company) Key Responsibilities: Technology Strategy & Vision: Define and execute a comprehensive technology roadmap, establishing the company's digital infrastructure from scratch. Build systems that support scalability, efficiency, and innovation in line with the company's mission to deliver sustainable, affordable housing on a global scale. Digital Infrastructure & AI Systems: Oversee the design, implementation, and scaling of the company's entire digital ecosystem, including big data, AI, machine learning, and automation. Ensure integration of these technologies to support real-time decision-making, data analytics, and predictive modelling across the company's operations. Industry 4.0 Leadership: Lead the incorporation of Industry 4.0 technologies such as IoT, robotics, automation, and digital twin systems to optimize M3 Building Systems production processes and improve operational efficiency. Blockchain & Carbon Credits: Develop a blockchain platform to manage and trade excess carbon credits, utilizing the carbon credits generated from the company's process of converting 750,000 tonnes of waste annually. Leverage blockchain for transparency, traceability, and the creation of new revenue streams. Collaboration with ESG Banking Specialists: Collaborate with our ESG banking specialist to maximize the financial benefits of carbon credit sales, ensuring these efforts align with the company's overall ESG strategy. Promote the company's green credentials to investors and stakeholders while ensuring compliance with banking and sustainability regulations. Sustainability & ESG Compliance: Champion the company's carbon-negative processes, ensuring alignment with ESG standards and optimizing the company's environmental impact through innovative digital solutions. Innovation & R&D: Lead research and development efforts to explore and integrate cutting-edge materials, processes, and technologies that contribute to the company's sustainability goals and operational efficiency. Humanitarian Focus: Drive technological innovations that support Haussmann's mission of providing affordable housing to underserved populations, demonstrating a strong commitment to humanitarian values and environmental sustainability. Team Leadership & Development: Build and lead a high-performing technology team from the ground up, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and commitment to the company's vision of sustainable growth and global impact. Qualifications: A master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Extensive experience in establishing digital infrastructure and systems from the ground up, including big data, AI, machine learning, and automation technologies. Proven expertise in Industry 4.0 technologies, with experience in IoT, robotics, and blockchain development. Experience in blockchain technology, particularly around tokenization and marketplace creation, as well as managing carbon credits and sustainability initiatives. Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to execute large-scale digital transformation projects. Experience in the construction or building materials industry is a plus, but not required. A commitment to social responsibility, sustainability, and delivering humanitarian solutions. Compensation: Annual Pay Package: AUD $750K, plus long-term incentives. Profit Share: 1% of global annual net profits.
