Now, about the opportunity: In the Adobe Campaign Tech Lead position, you’ll drive the overall development, design, and build of marketing automation platforms and tools to help our clients bring to life their customer journeys across channels. In this role, you will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including business, digital and technology/IT - both internal and client side. You will take the lead on complex environments and will be designing the technical solution, development, migration and processes. Additionally, our ideal candidate is a fast and flexible go-getter who jumps on new technologies. Finally, you will collaborate with our internal stakeholders to grow the Marketing Orchestration practice.
In this role you will:
1. Provide technical oversight/assurance to projects
2. Be seen as technical authority and gain client’s trust as trusted advisor
3. Provide Pre-Sales technical response to RFP requests, and attendance to pitches
4. Provide detailed effort estimates and costed proposals for new work requests, ensuring requirements are well understood, the chosen solution is viable, meets requirements, and adheres to best practice
5. Provide technical guidance and role of mentor/coach to technical members of the team
6. Facilitate workshops and client meetings including discovery sessions, stakeholder interviews, requirements gathering workshops, use case or solution design workshops
7. Serve as the escalation point for any in-flight project or support challenges, establishing a trusted relationship with key contacts
8. Contribute to the development of the practice across: go-to-market strategies and services offering definition, innovation & technology partnerships, team upskilling, documentation standards management
Experience you have:
9. 5+ years of experience in marketing orchestration as a Senior Developer or Technical Lead, having successfully supported or led implementation of complex solutions
10. At least 5 years of Adobe Campaign Classic hands-on experience - ideally you own the Adobe Campaign Classic Expert certification
11. Additional experience with other marketing orchestration tools is a plus (e.g Adobe Campaign Standard, Adobe Journey Optimizer, Marketo, Braze, Acoustic, Salesforce Marketing Cloud)
12. At least five years of combined experience in JavaScript programming, SQL development including ETL, and web technologies (XML, HTML and web services)
13. Experience working with SOAP & Rest APIs and how they interact with other upstream/downstream systems
14. Experience with database architecture and knowledge of database marketing
