About the Role BOQ Specialist are currently searching for an Associate to join the team!
The purpose of this role is to assist the Relationship Executive with the ongoing management of their client portfolio.
The role predominately involves end to end home loan administration including deal structure, serviceability and workflow management through to settlement along with management with enquiries and maintenance for the existing client base.
Key Accountabilities: Taking ownership of each new deal from application stage through to settlement, including workflow management through the credit approval, documentation and settlement processes with support from the Relationship Executive.
Determine client income, loan serviceability, prepare credit submissions and actively manage the deal through the credit approval process (ensuring policy requirements and approval conditions are met) Liaise with internal stakeholders (Credit, Operations teams, Client Partner Services) as well as clients, accountants, solicitors and relevant 3rd parties to ensure efficient settlement of each deal Answer inbound enquiries and providing exceptional customer service to external/internal clients including regularly updating the client on file progress Monitoring ongoing needs of existing client base and work with the Relationship Executive to review and where necessary, update the clients banking solutions.
This includes reviewing fixed rate expiries, interest only term maturities and managing adhoc requests from client to vary their existing loans Ongoing client maintenance and assist with client retention Following internal processes and applying best practice with compliance matters.
This includes raising risk events, engaging and remediating assurance (hindsight) testing outcomes.
Understand and comply with the Code of Conduct and any additional policies and procedures which apply to the role to ensure BOQ Group excels, complies with laws and regulations, and upholds their reputation.
Specific administrative responsibilities include: Follow up any outstanding documentation required for settlement Ensure appropriate accounts are set up (transactional and deposit) Perform all relevant client checks including Equifax reports, AML on all new files Load all applications accurately into loan origination system (Finesse) Labelling and Scanning of files into internal systems Verify and prepare Loan contracts on receipt thereof for signature and post to CGW upon return Manage Post-settlement account enquiries About you Our successful candidate will have: A relevant degree (preferable) Relationship management experience would be highly desirable The ability to read self-employed financials and determine loan serviceability preferable A good understanding of Lending products High attention to detail and computer literacy About Us BOQ Group is a truly unique group of challenger brands with a purpose – to provide a genuine alternative to Australian financial services for customers and employees.
