An excellent opportunity has arisen in KPMG's Office of General Counsel (OGC) for a commercial lawyer. The OGC deals with a wide variety of corporate and commercial arrangements and agreements, regulatory issues and litigation. We are looking for talented people who share our purpose of inspiring confidence and empowering change for our clients, our people and our communities. Your new roleKey responsibilities include working with your colleagues to:
5. draft and negotiate general contracts and commercial agreements
6. Review new products and service offerings
7. Provide legal advice in relation to tender documents and client service offerings
8. Liaise closely with the business and external counsel
You bring to the roleYou must hold a current practicing certificate, and we value lawyers with:
9. Post admission experience with a leading law firm or in an in-house environment
10. Experience negotiating general commercial contracts (experience in the engineering consultancy field is not essential but will be considered an asset)
11. Strong drafting and negotiation skills
12. Strong written and verbal communication skills and experience building relationships with internal clients at all levels
13. A proactive and commercial approach to problem solving
