About the role Join AGL’s Retail Transformation journey as we reshape our Customer Market operations. Due to an internal move, we’re looking for a dynamic and experienced Finance Manager, Retail Transformation to play a critical role in providing financial expertise and supporting the successful delivery of this strategic program. Reporting to General Manager- Finance Partnering, this role will be pivotal in managing board reporting, financial planning, and stakeholder relationships, all while ensuring the program's financial performance aligns with business objectives. What you’ll be doing Lead the creation of bi-annual board paper materials and drive the narrative in collaboration with Program Sponsors, General Managers, and Directors. Communicate financial risks and program updates effectively to program governance. Act as a liaison between AGL, external consultants, and the Retail Transformation team. Develop and manage the program’s financial plans, budgets, and forecasts, ensuring alignment with program goals. Track financial performance against budgets and report on financial progress. Provide updates on program costs, benefits, and financial position, with monthly and half-yearly reporting. Ensure adherence to accounting standards and address significant items, balance sheet reviews, and capital expenditure requirements. Monitor benefits realisation and align expectations with key stakeholders. Deliver specialist input on finance-related matters (accounting, tax, systems) to support key stakeholders. Undertake ad-hoc tasks and provide support as required by the program leadership About you What you’ll bring to the table Tertiary qualification in Finance, Business, or related discipline. Proven experience in a similar finance role within a large-scale transformation program Strong business partnering skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders. Experience with integrated financial systems (SAP preferred). Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Proven leadership capability. Self-motivated, with a collaborative work style and a continuous improvement mindset. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
