They are looking for an experienced Senior Human Resources Advisor/HR Manager to join their team and manage the end-to-end HR function for the Company, consisting of several entities. You will be the leading HR resource for the business and part of the Senior leadership team.Reporting to the Head of Site, you will be responsible for the delivery of HR expertise, operational and high-level advice, and generalist HR/IR support to Group. This role will work closely with the management team to implement effective people management practices, including performance management, provide positive and proactive advice regarding the resolution of workplace and employee disputes and grievances, and termination of employment.The role is expected to support business performance improvement initiatives, including those that lead to increased employee engagement and help build organisational and people capability. The position will also review compliance matters, best practice HR initiatives, and recommend improvements to the management team.Key responsibilities include:Operational HR:Facilitate, develop and evaluate position descriptions.Manage end-to-end recruitment.Monitor the integration and performance of new employees to support their development and contribution.Lead the relationship management with labour and recruitment agencies.Ensure compliance with all EBA/Awards.Ensure Workcover cases are managed and work closely with the Injury Management Coordinator.Manage and operate high quality documentation and record keeping.HR Advice & Support:Advise the management team as well as general staff in the resolution of HR/IR issues and enquiries.Provide advice and support on Company policies and procedures, relevant employment awards, legislation, and practices.Manage the resolution and finalize conflicts and grievances in accordance with policies and procedures.Explore and provide advice to the executive team regarding an EBA/Awards for the group.Provide award interpretation advice and when needed seek advice from the group’s external IR legal advisors.Other Duties:Review and devise group policies and procedures.Update staff movements in HRIS.Keep up to date with new or amended legislation, and actively oversee implementation of HR projects.Attend and participate in morning Production meetings.Oversee HR initiatives e.g.: Employee of the Month.Undertake other duties as directed by management within your area of skill and expertise.JOB CRITERIAIdeally, you will have the following experience, skills, and personal attributes to be successful in the role:Tertiary qualifications in Human Resource Management, Business or Industrial Relations or equivalent work experience.A minimum of 5 to 7 years relevant HR experience preferably with a food manufacturing or FMCG environment.Proficiency in Microsoft office suite of applications.Excellent attention to detail.Ability to work to tight timeframes in a fast-paced environment.Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.Conflict resolution skills.Effective coaching skills.Sound decision making.Friendly and personable - ability to connect with people.Willingness to work on-site every day 7.30am to 4pm (Monday to Friday).
