The Communications and Corporate Affairs (CCA) Group at ASIC builds strategic stakeholder relationships to enhance awareness and understanding of ASIC's work with a focus on external, digital and internal communications, stakeholder engagement, and consumer education, including the Moneysmart program. The Events Team plays a key role in delivering high-profile events that align with and support ASIC's strategic priorities, fostering meaningful connections with stakeholders and enhancing ASIC's presence and impact.
The role As An Events Manager, You Will Plan and execute high-profile corporate events, including industry panels, executive briefings, and major stakeholder forums and symposiums.Engage and collaborate with senior executives, Commission members, and external stakeholders, ensuring events align with strategic objectives.Represent the organisation in high-level forums, liaising with senior decision-makers, government representatives, and industry leaders.Manage event logistics, procurement, and budgets while ensuring compliance with government regulations.Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring events are delivered to the highest standard.Contribute to post-event evaluations, using insights to improve future engagements.About You
With at least five years of experience managing high-profile corporate events, you have a strong track record of delivering engaging experiences for senior executives and key stakeholders. Experienced in fostering productive relationships with senior leaders, external partners, and decision-makers, you ensure seamless collaboration across all levels. Your confident and clear communication style allows you to engage effectively with executives to navigate complex corporate environments with ease.
You excel at managing multiple priorities, consistently delivering high-quality events on time and within budget. A highly effective communicator, you present to senior leadership and external stakeholders with credibility and impact. Thriving in a fast-paced, high-performing environment, you remain composed under pressure while proactively identifying and addressing challenges.
