About the RoleThe Information Technology Compliance Officer role assists in the effective and secure management of access to computer technology by people in custody, the development and implementation of policies, programs and services that provide education around the safe and secure use of ICT.
This position will continuously seek ways to improve services and be committed to delivering high quality outcomes.
As the Information Technology Compliance Officer, some of your duties will include:
Providing support and assistance to Victorian custodial facilities regarding the secure management access to Information Computer Technology (ICT) by people in our care.Liaising with and building relationships with a range of stakeholders, providing effective and timely technical input and support.Being responsible for hardware procurement, standard builds and conducting computer forensic examinations to detect unauthorised and illegal hardware, software and programs on computers used by offenders.The location of this role is primarily based out of CVIU Headquarters at State-wide Services Building (SSB) Ravenhall and has requirements to attend other locations as needed.
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:
Sound knowledge of the Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft Suites, anti-virus and security software in a security environment.Demonstrated ability in advanced ICT Security Management and Risk Mitigation Strategies.Sound and current knowledge of industry best practice.QualificationsAn industry qualification and/or relevant industry experience would be highly regarded.Negative Vetting 1 security clearance to be obtained within 12 months of commencement of the role.How to ApplyPlease click the Apply button on this advertisement.
