The HR function is an important component to this company and this role is ideal for someone who is extremely good with people and able to work in a partnership with the commercial leaders, but yet be an employee champion to all staff members. This business are extremely open & honest, it holds a flat structure and needs a HR Manager who is happy to make sure the HR function runs smoothly whilst being okay with sometimes just running recruitment for 2 months straight. There is a huge scope for where this role can go but for now need someone who wants to get their head down and support a really fun organization. Reporting to the MD & People Lead, you will be part of a team that is responsible for reviewing, creating and taking ownership of: Being a point of contact supporting employees End to end recruitment, annual performance review’s the remuneration process, data analysis, workforce planning, succession planning, engagement, HR policies and procedures, creating role specific development plans and ensuring continuous improvement Creating HR strategies supporting projects, initiatives, and change; including all internal communications and consultation process Being part of the senior leadership team having a voice in the decision making process Ensuring business compliance with relevant employment, WHS legislation and consistent compliance updates Reporting on people metrics, providing the business with insights and providing recommendations for future improvements Coaching and assisting managers in performance management processes and day to day employee relations matters Working with employment lawyers and facilitating staff and team issues Help support innovation and organisational change Project work as agreed from time to time Flexibility to travel as required Working alongside the group general manager to deliver strategy and outcomes Working on and facilitating back to work programs interfacing with workers comp Collaborating with finance team for all annual leave / financial interfaces and requirements You Will Need: A degree in HR or equivalent qualifications in this capacity (Essential) At least 3-5 years experience in a HR generalist position Switched on attitude Experience in renewable's / power or a construction blue collar environment is essential Strong initiative is key for this role Need to be a go getter Confident & approachable Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills Ability to work autonomously, self-manage, manage deadlines and work in fast-paced environment What's in it for you?
