Base pay range
A$113,355.00/yr - A$136,660.00/yr

About the Role
Join our client in the government sector and play a pivotal role as the Assistant Director, Pay and Conditions. You'll manage a skilled team, overseeing payroll operations and SAP HR system upgrades while liaising with both internal and external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
* Lead the Pay and Conditions team to deliver high-quality payroll advice and services
* Oversee payroll functions, including pay processing, pay cycle checks, and reporting
* Manage complex payroll queries and strategic team management
* Analyse, process, and present payroll data to drive business decisions
* Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports to meet business requirements
* Work closely with stakeholders to deliver the payroll function efficiently
* Provide expert advice on SAP system and pay conditions processes
* Manage major system upgrades and projects
* Develop and deliver policies, processes, and procedures aligned with strategic people frameworks
