Responsible for analysing, reviewing and reporting cost expenditures and purchases within Manufacturing business. This includes margin analysis, recommending cost efficient and financially feasible cost improvements. The Role: Analyse and recommend cost savings Prepare and complete internal cost audits Prepare documents and interpret financial information regarding cost improvements Present cost estimates and budgets for new purchases Complete audits and general ledger preparation Forecast and plan future purchasing costs according to business needs Provide technical accounting advice within area of expertise to functional or operational areas managers to help them develop revenue and expense budgets, understand financial reports, and manage their financial responsibilities Collect, compile, verify, and analyse financial information and prepare financial reports and accounting statements so that senior management has accurate and timely information for making financial decisions. These reports may include profit and loss statements, balance sheets, depreciation statements, debtor and creditor lists, repayment schedules, regulatory reports and filings. Your Profile - skills and experience: CA/CPA qualified Minimum 5 years of experience, ideally coming from a Manufacturing, production environment Well-developed knowledge of common analysis tools and excellent knowledge of financial and reporting system including MS-Excel Key Competencies include: Pro-active, responsive and ability to meet deadlines and deliver results with passion, accuracy and a sense of urgency.
