This role offers the opportunity to drive impactful projects and make a real difference in the clinical research landscape in Australia and beyond.About the Role: As a Clinical Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of clinical trials, ensuring that they are conducted efficiently, on time and within budget, and in compliance with regulatory, quality and safety standards. This role partners with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure the quality and integrity of data collected during the trials. To succeed in this role, you will need excellent project management skills, a strong understanding of clinical research processes, and the ability to work within a team to achieve study milestones.Key Responsibilities: Lead the planning and execution of clinical trials from initiation through close-out, ensuring compliance with study protocols, timelines, and budgets.Coordinate and work closely with clinical teams, including clinical research associates (CRAs), data management, central laboratories, and other external vendors to ensure smooth project execution.Serve as the primary point of contact for Sponsor and external vendors, managing relationships, expectations, and contractual obligations throughout the project lifecycle.Identify, assess, and mitigate risks to project timelines, budgets, and quality.Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements, GCP, and company SOPs throughout the lifecycle of the clinical trial.Develop and manage the study budget, ensuring that financial resources are allocated efficiently and appropriately. Track project expenses and ensure adherence to the budget.Provide regular updates and reports to internal stakeholders and Sponsors.Provide leadership and guidance to other members of the trial team.About You: To be successful in this role, you will have at least five (5) years' experience in clinical trial management within a CRO (strongly preferred) or pharmaceutical environment. This experience will be underpinned by an undergraduate degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, Pharmacy, or a related field.You will have a proven track record of having successfully managed clinical trials from start-up to close-out. Experience with project management, medical monitoring, site management, pharmacovigilance, data management, and vendor management are all required to be effective in this role.Additional Skills and Experience: A comprehensive knowledge of clinical trial processes, regulatory guidelines, and industry standards (ICH GCP, TGA, NHMRC Guidelines, etc.).Prior experience with preparing clinical trial budgets, vendor contracts, site contracts, and invoicing.The ability to identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies to avoid delays or compliance issues.Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.Communication and teamwork are paramount in our organisation, and this role requires someone who can communicate and negotiate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
