Further information is available at www.alfredpharmacy.org.au About the role Manage the outpatient dispensary operations and completion of necessary duties in collaboration with Senior Pharmacist. Optimise outpatient pharmacy dispensary services, and troubleshoot issues. Develop and implement policies and procedures adhering to good practise guidelines. Ensure staff rotating in to the outpatient dispensaries receive a high standard of training and are assessed appropriately. Be actively involved in appraisal and continuing professional development of self and others. Develop, with other senior staff, the roles of the pharmacy technician in line with departmental requirements. Collaborate with internal and external pharmacy service users when necessary. Develop and contribute to performance management standards and review services and service delivery according to Alfred Health objectives. About you Ability to initiate and implement change. Ability to lead, manage and motivate staff. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Ability to co-ordinate and collaborate with other health professionals and departments Ability to troubleshoot problems and implement solutions Patient-centred approach to healthcare A proven ability to manage staff, change and service development Excellent communication and time management skills with the ability to prioritise, plan, organise and deliver to deadlines Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams Ability to liaise with individuals from other departments including medical, nursing and administrative staff Must have satisfactorily completed (or be eligible to complete) Certificate IV in Hospital/Health Services Pharmacy Support, or equivalent qualifications.
