We are seeking experienced Chefs/Cooks to join our team. As a successful candidate, you will be offered a competitive remuneration package based on your experience and skill set, ranging from $58,000 - $75,000 plus statutory superannuation.

Main Responsibilities:

* Operate kitchens and meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
">
* Assist with selecting and recruiting kitchen staff
">
* Train kitchen staff in cooking techniques and presentation methods
">
* Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation
">
* Inspect and prepare fresh ingredients for cooking
">
* Operate kitchen equipment efficiently
">
* Manage stock control and minimize wastage
">
* Order stock and maintain inventory levels
">
* Prepare high-end signature dishes and attend to select guests
">
* Collaborate with service managers to update menus
">
* Maintain kitchen hygiene standards
">
* Comply with liquor licensing laws
">
* Roster kitchen staff and manage day-to-day issues

Requirements:

* A relevant commercial cookery qualification or equivalent (additional work experience considered)

* Minimum 2-3 years of commercial kitchen experience (professional references preferred)

* Ability to work independently

* Experience in fast-paced hospitality environments

* Positive attitude and willingness to work nights and weekends
