About the role:
The Finance Analyst is responsible for working alongside Project Managers on projects of varying scope and complexity, delivering financial oversight and actionable analysis to achieve financial objectives. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Central Planning & Reporting, this role involves analysing Project financials, preparing reports, and assisting with budget management to ensure the effective use of financial resources.
The Finance Analyst, Project Finance will:
Assist with overall project finance and financial reporting requirements. Assist in the preparation and monitoring of project budgets, variances and consolidation. Administer month end reporting including system interfaces, accruals and direct/indirect cost verification. Assist with ensuring the integrity of project cost data captured in the ERP system, including prompt rectification of coding errors. Support end of month reconciliation, reporting and compliance activities. Analyse project financial data and provide recommendations for improvements. Collect, validate, and analyse financial data from various sources to ensure accuracy and consistency in financial reporting and decision-making. To be successful, you'll have:
A postgraduate degree in a relevant field, such as finance, accounting, or business administration and CA/CPA qualification in required. Extensive experience and management expertise in technical or administrative fields; or An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training. Proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting, and reporting. Advanced knowledge of Excel and experience with financial software and data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders. Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Here's how to apply:
