Our consultants are engaged in a variety of cutting-edge projects throughout Australia.About the RoleOur Federal Government Client is seeking multiple Senior Business Analysts currently holding an NV1 security clearance or higher.This is a 12-month contract opportunity with long term extension options if required, located at our client’s Canberra office (candidates MUST be based in Canberra if currently interstate).As the selected candidate, you will be:Managing the execution of business process improvementsAnalysing and designing business processes to identify alternative solutions to improve efficiency, effectiveness and exploit new technologies and automationDeveloping graphical models of business processes to facilitate understanding and decision-makingAssessing the feasibility of business process changes and recommending alternative approachesCoordinating, analysing, evaluating and documenting business requirements from a variety of sources, in accordance with program and the Agency’s governance frameworksIdentifying, developing and supporting the development of business cases, capability blueprints and concepts of operations, working with a range of stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategic objectivesDeveloping and delivering high quality documentation which may include data models, business process models, business requirements and process design documentation for new and existing Agency systemsAnalysing current data flows, information sources, business systems and software products to determine approaches that will improve performance and integrity of the interface between system users, the operating system and applications softwareExploring all possibilities and designing alternatives to address problems and identify solutionsFacilitating business requirements workshops to enable the development of innovative solutions to highly complex business issuesBuilding and maintaining strong relationships with relevant stakeholders to ensure the Agency’s and partner agencies’ project activities and milestones are achievedWorking collaboratively as a key partner with project delivery managers, project managers, systems developers and the Agency’s partnersEnsuring documentation adheres to the project management methodology and quality standardsContributing to the continuous improvement of the Agency’s project governance framework, System Development Lifecycle framework and Business Analyst GroupUsing well-developed written and verbal communication skills to develop briefings for senior internal and external stakeholdersRepresenting the work area at relevant meetings and forumsUndertaking official travel interstate, as required.To be successful in this role you should have:Demonstrated 5+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst, with a proven ability to deliver very complex business analysis artefacts and deliverables, which may include:Business cases, capability blueprints and concepts of operationsHigh-level and detailed business requirementsBusiness process design documentation, use cases and user scenariosAbility to facilitate the development of business processes to uplift and deliver new capabilities for the AgencyDemonstrated high-level problem-solving skills, including the ability to develop innovative solutions and form sound judgment.Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian citizens already holding an NV1 security clearance or higher.Apply now for immediate consideration – contact Ron Luu at Ron.Luu@peoplebank.com.au quoting Job Reference: #266111.Please note:Only candidates that meet the above criteria will be contacted.
