SALES MANAGER – HOSPITALITY STRATEGY & COMMERCIAL

As our Sales Manager, reporting to the Director of Sales, you will be responsible for driving revenue, maximising occupancy and yield opportunities across our Sydney property. Your focus will be on proactive sales activity, conducting sales calls and generating revenue for accommodation and business events.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play an important part of an energetic and driven sales team, contributing towards hotel revenue and driving occupancy via conversion of bookings for our Sydney property.
A few of your responsibilities:
* Assist the Director of Sales in the development and implementation of business plans and sales strategies with the intent to secure appropriate business for The Star Entertainment Group.
* Provide leadership with a focus on driving profitable revenue across hotels/events business
* Develop a pipeline of offers to drive sales for hotel/business events
* Provide leadership with a focus on business events/ hotel sales to increase revenue based on reaching and exceeding budgeted targets.
* Drive initiatives to create new and repeat business.
What we are looking for:
* Experience in Business Development for hotel and business events market segments
* The ability to effectively work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and successfully prioritise workload.
* Experience as a Sales Manager within a similar environment
* Previous experience selling hotel and event venues with a comparable property or brand.
* Experience in selling principles and objectives and sales targeting.

You are proud of the role you play within our hospitality business, pride yourself in strong client relationships and maintain a consistent pipeline of profitable bookings and revenue.
