Job Title: Supply Chain and Logistics Manager
About the Role:
As a Supply Chain and Logistics Manager, you will oversee and optimise the entire supply chain process from procurement to customer delivery. This role is based at our national corporate office in Wellcamp, Toowoomba, and involves working closely with the Commercial Manager to ensure operational efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.
Main Responsibilities:
Supply Chain Management: Develop and implement supply chain strategies, manage the procurement process, identify and mitigate risks.
Logistics and Transportation: Oversee transportation and distribution networks, optimise routing and shipping methods, liaise with carriers, and report on performance.
Import/Export Operations: Manage international shipping, comply with trade regulations, collaborate with customs brokers and government agencies.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
* In-depth knowledge of supply chain processes, logistics principles, and transportation management systems.
* A strong understanding of international trade laws, customs procedures, and documentation.
* Excellent problem-solving, analytics, and organisational skills.
* Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
* Proficiency in ERP and supply chain software (e.g., Pronto).
Essential Requirements:
Qualifications in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or equivalent. A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in supply chain management, with a focus on logistics and import/export.
