The Role
This role offers the perfect opportunity for mid to senior/principal - level professionals looking to broaden their impact on complex projects and step into leadership roles. You'll work alongside Tier 1 contractors and leading consultants on landmark infrastructure and development projects.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead tender and design projects for significant infrastructure developments.
2. Perform advanced analysis and design using software like Slope/W, WALLAP, Repute, Settle3D, SEEP/W, MODFLOW, and CIRCLY.
3. Provide construction phase advice, inspections, and assessments for diverse building and remediation projects.
4. Plan and coordinate geotechnical field investigations for residential, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects.
5. Conduct site inspections, testing, geological mapping, and monitoring for major earthworks, pavements, excavations, and transport projects.
6. Prepare high-quality technical reports, letters, and memoranda.
7. Engage in business development, client management, and prepare competitive tenders and proposals.
8. Mentor and support junior geotechnical professionals within the team.
About You
* Bachelor’s degree in engineering (BE) or Science (BSc) with a geotechnical focus.
* Minimum 5 years’ + experience as a Geotechnical Engineer or Engineering Geologist - open to all levels.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in geotechnical design software.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and with clients.
* High level of professional integrity, commitment to safety, and strong report-writing skills.
