Description Aurenne is a dynamic, privately-owned family company with a highly successful background in business.As their current venture into the mining sector, they bring a fresh, innovative perspective that challenges traditional methods, driven by a shared vision to make this venture a lasting success.At Aurenne, our primary focus is the safe recovery and sale of gold.Flexibility and adaptability are at the heart of our operations—we believe in thinking outside the box, whether it's through utilising diverse equipment, making the best use of resources, or finding creative solutions to complex challenges.We strive for safe, cost-effective outcomes without sacrificing quality or results.Teamwork is at the core of Aurenne's culture.We foster a hands-on approach where every member of the team, from the owners to supervisors, actively participates in daily operations.Our expectation for high performance is paired with a commitment to safety—our people are our priority, and we ensure that everyone goes home safely at the end of every shift.Procedures are sensible and purposeful; when they don't exist, our team collaborates to assess risks and find safe, practical alternatives.Operating in a small 200+ person camp with approximately 130 people on-site at a time, Aurenne offers a close-knit community where individuals are recognised and heard.Our camp boasts excellent facilities, including comfortable accommodations, high-quality meals, a well-equipped gym, and a newly added, well-lit walking trail for those who value staying active.Located just a short flight from Perth with our own airstrip, we ensure convenience and comfort for all employees.This position is offered as a fulltime permanent role on an 8:6, day shift only roster.FIFO from Perth or DIDO from Kalgoorlie.The Role: We are seeking to employ a suitably qualified Gold Room Operator to join the processing team.This role is responsible for the daily operation of the elution's concentrated gold recovery plant and equipment.This role will be reporting to the Gold Room Supervisor and will involve ensuring that the recovery and smelting of gold is the number one priority.The processing plant runs at approx.230 Tonnes /hr and we are looking to optimise the gold recovery process.This position is based on an 8:6 roster at our very comfortable village.FIFO from Perth or DIDO from Kalgoorlie.This is for an immediate start.Responsibilities include: Oversee operational areas, CIL carbon movements, elution & carbon regeneration, electrowinning & gold room.Ensure self-compliance to site policies, standards, procedures and rules.Assist with works in the processing plant as and when required.Assist with all matters relating to safety systems.Ensure data entry and record keeping is completed accurately and timely.Utilization & compliance with site safety program.Monitor and maintain operational record & log sheet systems for ensuring plant information is available for tracking and optimizing performance.Compliance to operational strategies that balance plant throughput, gold recovery, available stocks, operating costs and impact on equipment to maximise return on investment.Monitor equipment performance & report deficiencies via the electronic maintenance management system (EMMS).Driver's license (C Class, manual car) and mobile plant operation exposure.Minimum 3 Years gold room operating experience.Experienced in Gravity concentrators, Acacia reactors, Elution circuits, Electrowinning, smelting & barring processes, bullion handling & security standards.Strong interpersonal skills.Intermediate competence in MS Office suite (Word, Excel & PowerPoint).Effective written, verbal and presentation communication skills.Full Australian working rights.National police clearance in line with gold industry standards.Ability to pass a medical and drug and alcohol screen.
