This pay rate is inclusive of mandatory 25% casual loading Our client is seeking to engage a contract Project Manager to support and be part of a team engaged in the development, implementation, administration and reporting of their key deliverable in Queensland. Roles and responsibilities Provide professional, timely and effective project planning, monitoring progress, managing and resolving risks and issues, and tracking of key performance indicators. Manage project interdependencies and work within the Program Governance body to balance competing demands to ensure project deliverables are achieved within the agreed timelines. Facilitate communication between business process owners, subject matter experts and business analysts to understand the needs of business and ensure outputs or services are planned for and delivered. Ensure project products are defined and delivered as per agreed schedule and measuring those results via agreed metrics and reporting these results to the Senior Responsible Officer (SRO) and the Project Steering Committee. Partnering with business stakeholders and project teams to define and clarify business requirements. Communicating to stakeholder's product decisions and timelines Coordination and management of business process mapping, tracking critical paths and the development of formal quality assurance processes for the project. Work with the Director, External Assessment to communicate change agenda and common vision to the range of business units. Experience/Skills/Knowledge Demonstrated experience in providing project management and business analyst services that align with organisational objectives and business outcomes. Extensive experience in Business Process Mapping Notation (BPMN), business process improvement, and both functional and non-functional requirements elicitation. Extensive experience in working with business teams to achieve organisation goals. High level communication skills: the position involves collaboration and leadership with business stakeholders, vendors, and project delivery teams. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) are paramount in this role to scope, facilitate and coordinate complex solutions to business and technical teams. Analytical thinking: Must be able to understand the business processes, dependencies, and requirements to help plan and implement a wide variety of deliverables. Must be able to evaluate the effectiveness of these projects on the business and help influence the changes necessary for their successful implementation. Proven ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and priorities workloads.
