Discover the Opportunity…. Opal ANZ is an industry-leading paper and packaging business. We have an opportunity for an Electrical Planner to join us at our site in Maryvale, Victoria.
The Electrical Planner is responsible for ensuring that the planning for Electrical & Instrumentation work is delivered in the most cost-effective manner possible with a key focus on plant reliability.
The key focus of this role will be to:
Plan work orders using the SAP maintenance system Ensuring that all components of job delivery are brought together on time, in full, at the place of execution Inspecting relevant work areas and preparing them accordingly prior to maintenance Attending & participating in meetings to discuss site operations & upcoming projects Procurement of external labour and materials (locate, receive quotes, evaluate, & purchase) Raising work requests Arranging for overhauls of removed equipment (i.e. rotables) Develop library plans for standard jobs Recipient in Charge (RIC) duties where required We can offer a varied career journey with experiential learning gained from cross-functional and lateral moves. For this role we would ideally like you to have: An A Grade Electrical Licence (is required) or an Engineering Degree Trades background would be viewed favourably Experience working in heavy industrial environments would be highly regarded Planning & Scheduling experience would be highly regarded Maintenance or Project Delivery experience of at least 5 years Experience in using systems such as SAP (highly regarded) Applications are open to both internal and external candidates.
