About the role This vacancy sits within our corporate practice working primarily with well-regarded partner, Russell Lyons, head of the Sydney Capital Markets Practice. The team is involved in IPO's, secondary raisings and takeovers including significant domestic & cross-border mergers and acquisitions for both private and public companies as well as their financial regulation, governance and risk management. We act for listed and large private clients in a range of different industries including financial services, technology, education, manufacturing, distribution and retail, health and resources. We are seeking an experienced mid-level lawyer (3-4 years PQE) who has capital markets and M&A experience working on sophisticated and complex transactions. A high level of client service is expected as are excellent organisation, written and oral communication skills. The successful applicant will have exceptional technical abilities, be commercially minded, with previous experience or desire to supervise and mentor junior team members.
